Maritza Rodriguez is it a student with orthopedic impairments…she uses a power chair and as we can find motor skills. She is unable to write legible a with pens or pencils and uses the computer at home to complete classroom work. She has lost her ability to speak and also uses the computer for communication.
She was very excited to apply for a computer and made it clear that it would help her to communicate her needs at home and at school.
Her mom said that now Maritza In clearly communicate her needs and it has shown them skills they didn’t realize Maritza had!

I really appreciated the generous donation. I value the fact that I was accepted to receive a laptop computer. It brings me great joy knowing that I will have extra help in my transition from high school to college. This computer is a great investment in my future. I know I will be able to keep up in school and challenge myself to be the best. The laptop will good to good use.
Thank You,
Brandy Wright
