THE TRAID-IN EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM

The TRAID-In Equipment Exchange Program “matches” or connects people who have assistive devices they no longer need with people with disabilities who could use those devices. The program is available to New York State residents only, and is free of charge.

Anyone with access to the internet can place items that are no longer needed or used. Items can be posted For Sale, as a Donation, to Loan or as an Item Wanted.

AUN is a statewide resource that provides information regarding many disability issues, including AT. The "Equipment for Sale" page lists privately owned AT devices, adapted vehicles, etc. that are for sale or for donation. The exchange of devices and money are between the seller and buyer.
