Checklist:  AT Web Sites

 

ü      Develop or acquire technology for classified ad, exchange or auction process

 

ü      Design web site to meet ADA guidelines for access by persons with disabilities (See Resource Link, Dept. of Justice Guidance on ADA)

 

ü      Develop user agreement

 

ü      Develop disclaimer of liability agreement (sometimes combined in user agreement)

 

ü      Develop privacy policy

 

ü      Develop policy for listing items

 

ü      Define fee schedule if fees are charged

   ü      Develop policy and publish list of prohibited or discouraged items

   ü      Define complaint procedure
