Matching Persons to Equipment

Matching Persons to Equipment Matching is the identification of appropriate assistive technology for a person based on individual needs. The specifications for that equipment may be determined by a physician and in some cases the AT must be prescribed by a specific physican specialty. Sometimes the matching process must be performed by an appropriate professional. (See attached document on Power Mobility Devices.)
